Stamford is studying a new weight loss devise called VBLOC, which will fool the brain into thinking you are full and do not need more food. the devise will be studied up to five years in this country. It has already been un use over seas.

Although the devise will have to inserted under the skin, the hope is that it will eliminate the surgery where a tight band is inserted around the stomach to control the volume of food consumed. This devise will emit electric signals to te brain via the vagal nerves.
